Dr. Josie Horchak
Dr. Josie Horchak is an Indianapolis native, where her love of all animals - both big and small - developed at a very young age on her grandparent's farm. As a high school student, she got a job at the local neighborhood veterinary clinic, where she quickly realized that a career as a veterinarian would be a perfect fit to fulfill her passion for both medicine and animal welfare.
Dr. Horchak graduated magna cum laude from the University of Dayton with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She then went on to complete her DVM with honors at The Ohio State University. Upon graduation, she spent three years in private practice in downtown Chicago before heading south to Nashville!
Dr. Horchak is passionate about many aspects of veterinary medicine, but in particular values the ability to help strengthen the human-animal bond. She loves that her job works to ensure the health and well-being of her patients as well as educate clients so that the relationship between owners and their furry family members can reach its full potential.
When not practicing, you can find Dr. Horchak enjoying any and all outdoor activities and sports, checking off her travel bucket list, trying all of Nashville's restaurants, and spending time with her horse, three dogs, and fiancé, Cody.
