Dr. Rachel O'Rear
Dr. Rachel O'Rear is a Nashville native. She attended the University of Tennessee for all eight years of her schooling and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. She went on to complete a one-year small animal rotating medical and surgical internship, where she developed a passion for emergency medicine. Before joining GoodVets, Dr. O'Rear practiced for several years as an emergency veterinarian. In addition to emergency medicine, Dr. O'Rear is also interested in internal medicine, neurology, and infectious diseases. She is excited to be able to get know her clients and help them make the best decisions for their pets throughout their lives.
Outside of work, Dr. O'Rear enjoys attending local concerts, hiking, and paddle-boarding. She also likes spending time with her goofy, black, Golden Retriever mix named Cash and two orange and white cats, Neyland and Henley.
