COVID-19 and Caring for your Pet

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and healthy in light of the recent developments with COVID-19 in our community. We want to take this opportunity to clarify for our clients that local and state leadership have deemed all veterinary hospitals as essential businesses that are exempt from closure.

We will maintain our normal hours of operations to provide exceptional and vital care for all of our patients. As a healthcare provider for animals, we have the honor and privilege of being there for your pet during this unique time. If you are feeling ill or believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please postpone your visit for a later date.

As previously mentioned, we are following special precautions and protocols to better protect our staff and clients, including:

  • Staggered appointments times
  • Intensive cleaning and sanitizing
  • “Curbside veterinary care” – collecting our patients from their owners outside the entrance of our hospital
  • Delivering medications and prescription diets to clients in their car or outside our entrance door

If you’d like to know more about what exactly we are doing to contribute to flattening the curve and protecting our staff, please contact your local GoodVets hospital directly.

As always, we thank you for the opportunity to provide care for your pets.

Wishing you all health and safety.
